World First! – Padana Tubi Selects Thermatool for 8″ Alpha Flying Shear

Inductotherm Heating & Welding are pleased to announce that Padana Tubi – Italy have placed an order for an Alpha High-Speed Flying Shear for the cutting of large diameter Stainless Steel tube. This groundbreaking Alpha Shear will be the largest ever developed by Thermatool and will allow Padana Tubi to extend its production capability to cut materials up to 6mm wall thickness with an 8” diameter including profiles.

The Alpha Flying Shear Cutoff is renowned in the industry for being the fastest, most reliable and highest productivity tube cutting machine in the world.  Based on the proven performance of Padana Tubi’s other Alpha Shears the decision was an easy one. 

Padana Tubi & Profilati Acciaio S.P.A. was established in 1970 in Guastalla by the Alfieri family with the aim to produce welded tubes and carbon steel pipes.
